Duties to Be Learned
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and organized environment.
- Work closely with students to provide individualized attention, especially those with autism or special needs.
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences that promote cognitive and social development.
- Help prepare materials for lessons, including math activities and Montessori-based projects.
- Observe and document student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their emotional and social growth.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student behavior and progress.
Qualifications Preferred but NOT REQUIRED
- Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred and not required.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
- Ability to work effectively with children on the autism spectrum.
- A passion for education and nurturing young minds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards teaching.
