Director of Imaging Services Provides personal care and professional excellence by directing and coordinating department activities in accordance with accepted standards and administrative policies.Job Duties:
Effectively communicates and implements hospital policies and procedures.
Develops and maintains policies, procedures and standards pertaining to the operation of the department and in line with ACR, JCAHO, and hospital standards.
Represents the department in hospital wide and external activities as appropriate including service area meeting, leadership forum, LEHA Council, etc. contributing in a positive and constructive fashion.
Conducts departmental meeting as often as necessary to operate the department, but at least on a monthly basis.
Develops in conjunction with Administration, annual objectives for the department and oversees the implementation of such objectives.
Provides direct supervision to staff and subordinate managers in order to assure efficient and effective provision of departmental services.

Minimum Requirements:
Required Education:
Graduation from AMA approved school or Radiologic Technology
Required Certification:
Must be registered by ARRT and hold state certificate
Required Experience:
5 years' experience in radiologic technology required
2 years' experience in management role in radiologic technology required
Preferred Experience:
BS degree in Hospital Administration or Business Administration preferred
