ABOUT THE FIRM
Wood Litigation is a small civil litigation firm in downtown San Francisco. From time to time, the firm needs additional attorney help. If you have solid California civil litigation experience and want to work, this position might be just right for you.
The firm specializes in the areas of real estate, employment and commercial litigation. The firm's clients include :
- Developers, homebuyers, home sellers and property owners;
- Employers and departing employees in trade secret and compensation disputes;
- Employers faced with wage, hour and misclassification claims;
- Business owners in partnership / shareholder and commercial / contract disputes;
- CPA firms alleged to have negligently performed tax, audit or bookkeeping services with an emphasis in defending firms alleged to have failed to identify embezzlement; and
- Tech founders and engineers.
THE OPEN POSITION
The firm is looking for an attorney with top academic credentials and a minimum of five years of California civil litigation experience within the above practice areas. The ideal candidate graduated from a top law school, worked at a reputable litigation firm for a few years and is now in the market for part-time work for whatever reason. The firm has about 30 hours of work per week for the foreseeable future. Candidates can generally work remotely, though occassional court appearances, site visits and office visits are required.
