Wood Personnel is looking for someone with strong communication, learning, and motivational abilities to join the team of our client in Springfield, TN.

Plant Assistant Compensation and Hours :

  • Pay : $25 an hour
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 6 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • Environment : Manufacturing, non-climate controlled
  • Location : Must live within 20-30 minutes of Springfield, TN (local candidates preferred)

    • Plant Assistant Skills and Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Strong welding skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
  • Willingness to learn and operate heavy specialized manufacturing equipment
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment (t-shirt, jeans, no jewelry)
  • Current driver’s license

    • Plant Assistant Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Start as a Machine Operator with room for growth
  • Work closely with the plant supervisor to ensure smooth operations
  • Training provided to learn new skills and equipment
