Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, services, adjustments, and identifies defects.
- Repair and maintain equipment such as VFDs, motors, gear boxes, belts, conveyors, bearings, screens, screen shafts, and other critical components.
- Monitor equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation.
- Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts.
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, logs, checklists, and reports.
- Coordinate repairs with manufacturers or contractors as requested.
- Clean and organize workshop and storage areas.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Operate vehicles and motorized equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- College/Technical/Vocational training preferred.
- Experience or demonstrated working knowledge in preventative maintenance, general maintenance, or mechanical trades strongly preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Decision-making ability to determine hazards and proper safety protocols.
