Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This position involves overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met, and providing exceptional service to enhance guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality and custodial management, with a strong focus on floor care and industrial cleaning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events that require additional housekeeping support.
• Implement effective cleaning schedules to optimize staff productivity while maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, custodial practices, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
