Located in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, just 45 minutes from Madison, we are a voluntary, residential substance use treatment program dedicated to transforming lives. Serving clients aged 18-65, we are a privately owned facility driven by our mission to turn every addiction story into one of sustainable sobriety. We’re looking for a Maintenance Tech to join our team and help ensure our property is well-functioning, clean, orderly, and attractive!
- You will be responsible for maintaining the functionality of the operational aspects of the facility.
- You will complete duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager and maintain all facility documentation logs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execution of work orders for on-time completion and to high standards of quality.
- Communicate with supervisor and other department heads to coordinate the scheduling of assigned work orders.
- Daily adherence to Wood Violet Recovery’s accreditation standards and ensure all facilities areas and equipment are maintained.
- On-call response during hours of operation.
- Execution of preventative maintenance calendar schedule for all building systems.
- General janitorial and groundskeeping duties.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of English language.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A minimum of 1 year of sobriety if in recovery.
