Wood Violet Recovery - an affiliate of Sunshine Behavioral Health - is a residential substance use treatment program. We're located in Dodgeville, Wisconsin - approximately 45 minutes from Madison.

We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor to supervise, train, evaluate, schedule, and administer the responsibilities of all Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) of Wood Violet Recovery.
- You will assist with on-site activities, therapeutic support groups, outings, and community meetings.
- You will monitor the daily responsibilities of BHTs and administer training as needed to improve quality of care.
- You will assist therapists and case managers with crisis management, groups, and education as needed.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
12:30pm-11:00pm
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Director of Operations in the provision of services to clients.
- Monitor the needs and behaviors of clients.
- Continue to learn about substance use and alcoholism and the principles of recovery.
- Assist with on-site activities, therapeutic support groups, outings, and community meetings.
- Provide BHT orientation training, including shift responsibilities and expectations of Wood Violet Recovery.
- Utilize principles of communicable disease prevention and control.
- Recognize early signs of illness and the need for professional assistance and follow through & report this to the VPO and Clinical Director.
- Assist in the availability of community services and resources.
- Respond to emergencies and initiates action as required.
- Discuss significant events involving client’s activities with Treatment Team.
- Create schedules and approve timecards for all operations staff.
- Work with the Director of Operations and Human Resources on coaching and disciplinary actions for all operations staff.
- Work with Human Resources to facilitate hiring, training, and scheduling of new staff.
- Report any residential maintenance to facilities.
- Keep an open line of communication with department heads daily.
- Facilitate room moves and bed changes scheduled by admissions.
- Other duties, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
To be an Operations Supervisor at Wood Violet Recovery, you should have:
- A basic knowledge of administrative functions including interpersonal communications, office etiquette, and computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and high standards of workmanship.
- An introductory understanding of chemical dependency.
- An introductory understanding of the 12-step process.
- Basic knowledge of HIPPA compliance and privacy measures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two years of management experience.
- Experience, knowledge, or interest in chemical dependency and abuse.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with diversity.
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
- At least one year of sobriety if in recovery.
