What We Need:

Are you ready to impact our future? We're looking for a Controller with experience in the Construction industry to lead our financial operations. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, overseeing everything from accounting operations to budgeting and forecasting to risk management and compliance. You'll lead an engaged team, streamline processes with advanced technology, and offer insights that fuel our strategic direction. You'll work closely with Woodard's leadership, creating a financially informed culture that supports our mission of legendary service and excellence.

What You'll Accomplish:

• Create an efficient, proactive finance team that supports all areas of Woodard's business
• Implement and optimize financial systems to improve reporting and forecasting
• Foster interdepartmental collaboration to enhance financial understanding company-wide
• Maintain Woodard's high standards in compliance, risk management, and financial integrity

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 7 years' experience with progressive leadership in accounting, risk management, and financial operations, preferably within construction or restoration
• Proven track record in strategic financial planning, team development, risk management, and systems implementation
• Strong command of financial and job cost systems, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Salesforce, Certinia, or similar ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to leading change
