What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge position at Woodbridge Clinton?
Our community is looking for a Concierge to join our compassionate team of caregivers. The Concierge/Receptionist is responsible for answering phone calls and greeting our Residents, Team Members, and Visitors within the building on a day-to-day basis. This position would work Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Pay would be $12/hour.
- Treat residents, family members, and coworkers with dignity and respect at all times
- Maintain Resident privacy/confidentiality
- Answers the main phone in a courteous and professional manner
- Take accurate messages and transfers calls to appropriate persons/departments
- Assists in coordinating the Resident’s move into the community
- Performs supportive office functions for all departments including filing, typing, and making copies
- Respond to emergency calls, and resident/visitor requests, and correct environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
- Know how to be able to respond to emergency needs as designed by facility policy
- Know and comply with all Resident Rights
- Adhere to universal precautions and infection control procedures
- Notify Resident Care Director and Executive Director of a Resident is sent to the hospital or in the event of death
- Required to stay alert and attentive during all scheduled work hours
- Perform any additional duties as requested by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents and staff
- Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must be of good character; considerate; tolerant of aged and disabled persons
- Must have an acceptable criminal record check
- Documented TB Screening
- Must meet all health requirements
