RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for developing/maintaining schedule for monthly customer visits.
- Support the customers regarding customer returns, (sorting and repairing) quality of products; visits plants, provide launch support at customer, or areas of improvement.
- Handles requests for replacing defective parts.
- Completes, maintains and processes pertinent paperwork, pack signs, containment data and records.
- Trains and supports Liaisons at any customer location on computer, quality standards, and daily responsibilities.
- Supports any Internal or external sorting/repairing concerns.
- Supports any Quality Training (Gage RR) or any related Quality functions.
- Maintains and distributes the Dock Audits System.
- Maintains Visual Management such as signs and reference cards.
- Other related duties, as determined by the Quality Manager, as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of skills to carry out Quality department tasks.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Leadership skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to share and transfer knowledge and skills to / with others.
Dependable and self-motivated individual with good attendance / disciplinary and safety record who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
Detail orientated individual with excellent thinking and trouble-shooting skills; able to make decisions based on information
and analysis.
Ability to work weekends, alternate shifts and flex hours as required.
Some math and computer skills are essential to perform job duties. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Must be able to travel extensively, sometimes with little notice.(Including overnight travel).
Must have knowledge of Statistical Process Control and be familiar with automotive blueprints.
Working Conditions: Majority of time in a production environment and travel as needed. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Working Schedule: Standard work hours will consist of 8 to 10 hours per day, 5 days per week on an assigned shift. Schedule hours may be altered as required by the training needs of employees or equipment breakdown. Ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as requested.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
