Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they remain beautiful and functional throughout the seasons.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape tasks including trimming, and edging lawns. We install mulch, repair and rebuild retaining walls, grading, water diversion, drain tile, repair and replace patios, build fire pits and other outdoor areas. We install sod and plant grass seed. We install, and remove and replace plants. We stump grind, raise canopies of trees, etc.
- Proper utilization of hand tools and machinery for effective groundskeeping (i.e. shovels, wheel barrows, edge trimmers, hedge trimmers, landscape fabric, rakes, hoes, stump grinders, possible bobcat or skidsteer operation)
- Execute snow plowing / shoveling duties during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
- Implement hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through routine checks and minor repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical knowledge for equipment operation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
