The Director of Marketing, is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing a compelling brand and content strategy across all marketing channels. This role will drive marketing programs, oversee creative initiatives, and ensure brand consistency while staying ahead of industry trends. The Director will also manage budgeting, cost centers, contracts, and trademarks, ensuring operational efficiency and brand protection.
Responsibilities include:
- Brand & Content Strategy for both retail store and web marketing.
- Creative & Marketing Programs of the creative department, catalogs and create plan(s) for business goals and seasonal initiatives.
- Market & Consumer Insights which includes monitoring market trends and competitive positioning.
- Operational & Financial Oversight which includes the management of contracts, trademarks and the marketing cost centers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration with both internal teams and external agencies.
Job Specific Competencies include:
- Experience in retail, franchise or experiential marketing.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Deep understanding of brand positioning.
- Expertise in content strategy, storytelling and visual identity to maintain an engaging and recognizable brand presence.
- Passion for creativity and innovation in marketing approaches.
- Proficient in budget management.
- Strong management skills with the ability to motivate, organize and develop a high-performing marketing team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience. Master's degree is a plus.

This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Core business hours are 8:30 am - 5 pm but may have to work beyond these hours as needed to support key initiatives, product launches and creative deadlines.
