The Assistant Director of Facilities serves as part of the Facilities Leadership Team.
CURRENT OPENING:
- Full-time: 80 hours biweekly (EXMEPT)
- Part of on-call rotations
- Leads the Woodcrest Villa (Independent Living) team
- Leads the Woodcrest Villa (Independent Living) team
The Assistant Director of Facilities is to assist the Director of Facilities with staffing, work duties, and miscellaneous tasks in maintaining the facilities and grounds in accordance with Tandem Living standards. This position will be performed in
accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid PA Driver's License for the past two (2) consecutive years.
- A
minimum of at least five (5) years of experience in skilled maintenance.
- At
least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Additional training in the maintenance field is preferred.
- Computer
skills needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensures
that quality maintenance services are provided efficiently and effectively.
- Plans,
organizes, delegates, and/or monitors the following: resident repair requests,
completion of work order form and preventive maintenance programs; oversees
shuttle bus services, campus shuttle services, grounds care scheduling, outside
contractors doing work for grounds, snow and ice procedures, and helps with
inventory control.
- Coordinates
the following with employees and contractors: work schedules, duties, and tasks
to be performed, and standards of performance.
- Interviews
perspective employees and/or delegates the interviewing to the appropriate facilities team
member.
- Manages
the department budget.
- Monitors
financial results and payroll data.
