- Will take part in an on-call rotation
The
Renovations Technician is to complete all renovations and carpentry tasks for Tandem Living. This may involve planning, purchasing necessary materials, and performing general and skilled carpentry in accordance with Tandem Living standards, and Federal, State, and Local codes. This position will be performed in accordance with Tandem Living Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training in cabinetmaking preferred.
- Five years of experience working as a carpenter or in renovations is preferred.
- Must
be able to present a valid PA Driver’s License for the past two (2) consecutive years.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensures that quality carpentry and renovation services are provided efficiently and effectively for Woodcrest Villa.
- Completes
work orders, renovations for smaller projects, and PM’s in a timely manner.
- Utilizes
a general knowledge of electrical and mechanical operations. Diagnoses problems
and calls in the appropriate person/people to make repairs when necessary.
- Possesses
a knowledge of the fire alarm system as well as any other emergency alarm
system.
- Responds
to calls immediately as required. Is on-call as scheduled.
- Assists
when needed in all areas of renovations and capital projects to assure schedules are maintained and deadlines are met.
