OVERVIEW
Seven Corners Coffee was born out of a desire to connect people. We desire to connect coffee drinkers with coffee farmers, connect staff with customers, and to be a place where people in our community connect to each other. We are seeking candidates who want to contribute to 7 Corners Coffee’s success by building relationships and connecting with customers while providing exceptional coffee and a welcoming environment. We want our customers to know that we are in their corner!
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcomes customers, prepares orders and answers questions about our menu options
• Learns brewing methods and beverage blends and educates customers upon request
• Acts with integrity and honesty
• Promotes the values and mission of 7CC
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with team and customers
• Executes store operations during scheduled shifts
• Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, food safety and security
• Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed
• Adheres to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1 year of barista experience in a retail or restaurant environment
• Knowledge of high quality espresso machines, equipment and drinks
• Familiar with all aspects of coffeehouse operations
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly
• Exceptional listening and communication skills
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
• Ability to build relationships
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to walk, bend and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
