Woodford Oil Company is looking for a full-time Assistant Transportation dispatcher and Operations support at our Morgantown, WV Terminal.
Position:
This is a full-time position that will be providing dispatch support/Plant Manager for petroleum hazmat drivers and assisting with bulk plant operations.
Primary Job Duties:
• Collaborate with dispatch team to schedule daily work for the fleet
• Receive and dispatch orders from customers for the product delivery
• Evaluate, decide and direct drivers and warehouse staff on workflow
• Prioritize jobs in order of urgency and importance
• Monitor the daily workflow of drivers and warehouse operations
• Ensure all loads are covered and dispatched effectively and timely
• Assist with incoming loads into the facility
• Assist with counter sales for walk-in customers
• Assist with billing department to complete all required documentation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must be detail orientated, organized and have excellent multi-tasking skills
• Must work well in fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be organized and willing to work some weekends
• Knowledge and prior experience in dispatching preferred, but not required
• Knowledge or experience in wholesale distribution a plus
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
