Woodfords Family Services is seeking a tech-savvy Helpdesk Technician to join our IT Department in Westbrook, ME! This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with a competitive compensation & benefits package!
This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment upon completion of the introductory period.
Position Summary
The Helpdesk Technician is tasked with delivering technical support throughout the agency to address inquiries, implement upgrades, and assist with all software and hardware troubleshooting. This role requires the ability to make independent, real-time decisions, and tailor training and instruction to meet the specific needs of different departments and individual employees across Woodfords’ multiple sites.
Essential Functions Include (but are not limited to):
- Day-to-day maintenance of software and hardware devices related to the network.
- Set-up of new work stations for employees (laptops, tablets, phones, printers, etc.).
- Develop and maintain relationships with all agency directors and staff to ensure that their IT needs are met promptly and accurately.
- Maintain the helpdesk queue for all IT demands, including all work requests from employees across agency sites and locations.
- Maintain vendor support relationships and request service when required.
Opportunity Details
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, hybrid schedule eligibility
- $21-$24/hourly – commensurate with experience

Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate’s degree in computer science or related area of study.
- A strong working knowledge of current IT systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and Windows operating systems.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technology as needed to support Woodfords’ systems.
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
