Compensation : $17.00 per hour with a quarterly bonus tied to profitability.
Schedule : Flexible hours, Monday through Friday.
Summary :
The Inside Sales Admin needs strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. They also need to be proficient with computers and have strong phone and computer skills. The position reports directly to the Inside Sales Supervisor of the branch.
The focus and scope of this job is to ensure that the branch :
- Support the successful execution of the company’s strategic plan in a comprehensive and systematic manner. Executes plans to improve the sales performance of the team.
- Demonstrates a safety-first culture – meeting or exceeding improvement targets.
Personal initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Because the business environment changes rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in planning and problem solving. Sound decision-making is required to implement practical, timely solutions.
The job requires the ability to act independently with a high degree of commitment, urgency, and confidence. Dedication and commitment and the pursuit of high standards of achievement are expected in this position. Education and Experience :
Three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidates must have a successful track record of driving continuous improvement in a sales setting. Experience in the millwork and building materials industry is desirable but not a requirement.
Language Skills :
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals. Additionally, must have the ability to respond to common inquiries. Bi-lingual is a plus but not a requirement.
Other Skills / Certification :
Experience in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) is a plus.
