Compensation : $15.00–$17.00 per hour (based on experience) with a quarterly bonus tied to profitability.
Schedule : Flexible hours, Monday through Friday.
Summary :
The Warehouse Admin needs strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. They also need to be proficient with computers and have strong phone and computer skills. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager of the branch.
The focus and scope of this job is to ensure that the branch :
Support the successful execution of the company’s strategic plan in a comprehensive and systematic manner. E executes plans to improve the operational performance of the delivery function.
Demonstrates a safety-first culture – meeting or exceeding improvement targets.
Personal initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Because the business environment changes rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in planning and problem solving. Sound decision-making is required to implement practical, timely solutions.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Safety Management
Ensures a “safety-first” culture.
Effective and efficient management of operations.
- Preparing dispatch documents, as well as generating freight bills and invoices.
- Maintaining records of discrepancy calls, product changes.
- Logging vendor inbound shipping schedules.
Confirm and / or processes orders and bills of lading with corresponding information.
Prioritizes workload to manage changing priorities.
Effectively communicates to all levels within the organization.
Checks staged orders to verify quantity and SKU
Sorts orders into appropriate run
Processes & Files daily, all orders and returns from days deliveries and customer pickups
Organization
Filing and organizing documents, maintaining office equipment, and managing supply inventory
Communication
Answering phone calls, responding to correspondence, and providing customer service
Pace and variety of activities :
Works with a sense of urgency for goal achievement.
Leads in fast-paced environment
Manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Work Style :
Must be results-focused and able to generate innovative and creative solutions to problems.
Must build quick rapport with employees, customers, supply partners, and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate must be extroverted, confident, and possess the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of valued-added service and products to employees, customers, and vendors.
Education and Experience :
Three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidates must have a successful track record of driving continuous improvement in a delivery setting. Experience in the millwork and building materials industry is desirable.
Language Skills :
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals. Additionally, must have the ability to respond to common inquiries. Bi-lingual is a plus but not a requirement.
Other Skills / Certification :
Experience in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) is a plus.
