Employment Type : Hourly FT

Work Environment : Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm

Job Summary :

Windsor Windows & Doors has an immediate job opening for a Customer Support Representative for our West Des Moines location. The ideal candidate will provide PREMIER service by meeting and exceeding customer expectations in all areas of service. Promoting the company’s mission of “Easy to Do Business With” regarding all customer touch points.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Answer customer inquiries by telephone and email

Product details, pricing, order status, shipping

Prepare orders for order entry

Obtain drawings, CPR & SPR confirmations, special instructions

Process orders via system download and make manual adjustments as necessary

Enter manual orders for special circumstances

Process and expedite rush requests

Coordinate communications between customer and operations

Proactive customer communication

Orders, Back orders, shipping, delays or changes

Process Custom Product Requests (CPR’s)

Assist with quoting software - customer inquiries and challenges

Run and / or process department reports

Review for accuracy as assigned

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Department Manager(s)

Requirements :

Capable of being confidential with customer pricing and production rates.

Able to contribute knowledge of the product (parts and their function) to this position’s primary responsibilities.

Requires the flexibility or skill which allows the employee to move into similar type

positions

Additional Skills :

Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills presenting a positive representation of the company to inside and outside contacts

Understand written or verbal instructions with the capability of accepting responsibility for interpretation and / or problem solving

Advise others to determine needs and communicate alternatives / options

Able to perform arithmetic calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, fractions, decimals, and percentages

Able to use email effectively as necessary for basic written communication

Physical Demands :

The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment.

Travel :

This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
