We are seeking a dynamic Outreach Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in fostering community relationships, increasing awareness of our services, and driving client admissions.
Job Overview:
The Outreach Coordinator will develop and implement strategic outreach plans to expand Woodhaven’s referral network, build partnerships, and enhance visibility within the community. This role involves significant fieldwork, event planning, and collaboration with internal teams to align outreach strategies with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Outreach:
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, behavioral health providers, and social service agencies.
Conduct 20–25 in-person interactions weekly, such as check-ins, presentations, and tours.
Identify and establish 2–3 new referral partnerships quarterly.
Represent Woodhaven at professional networking events, conferences, and community meetings.
Client Referrals and Coordination:
Collaborate with the Admissions team to prescreen and onboard referred clients.
Act as a liaison between referral partners and the Admissions team, ensuring seamless communication.
Provide follow-up support to referral sources to maintain strong partnerships.
Event Planning:
Organize and execute community events, health fairs, and educational sessions to promote Woodhaven’s services.
Plan logistics, prepare materials, and follow up with attendees.
Compliance and Reporting:
Document outreach activities and submit weekly and monthly reports summarizing referral trends and new opportunities.
Ensure all activities comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on trends in addiction treatment and behavioral health.
Complete quarterly training modules to enhance skills and maintain compliance.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, marketing, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or addiction treatment.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with client management systems.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 points and active auto insurance.
CPR certification required at hire.
