Musical Director For Drama Production

Location: Woodland School District
Days/Hrs: Approximately 8 hours per week for 5 or 6 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $1000 stipend

Job Summary: Works with drama executive director to put on Woodland School District drama performances. Musical Directing in preparation for performance and play accompaniment during training period.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Experience in working with students as a musical director
- Ability to work and communicate well with staff members
- Ability to follow a variety of prescribed education strategies
- Ability to independently complete assigned tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in vocal auditions
- Coaches student actors as musical director
- Assists drama director in daily activities
- Assist administrators in maintaining appropriate discipline on campus and in school buildings
- Responsible to communicate effectively, be a team player and to treat all students with dignity
- Strong self-management skills, self-initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong regard for relationships with peers and children
- Punctuality, flexibility and good sense of humor
- Serve as a positive role model for students, and practices the behaviors that are expected of our students
- Work in a flexible and cooperative manner
- Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
