Position Purpose
">Our Representatives are the core of our future. They are responsible for growing our customer base, providing excellent customer service and serving the communities where they live and work.
">Core Responsibilities
">- You will sell life insurance and retirement products.
- You will develop leads.
- You will re-evaluate customer needs on an annual basis.
- You will listen to members to understand their financial needs and ensure a smooth sales process.
- You will personally deliver death benefits to local families.
- You will maintain and grow member base.
- You will present flags and awards to local nonprofit organizations and individuals.
- You will support local chapters in community service and fundraising efforts.
- You will build lasting relationships with members and help them reach their financial goals.
Qualifications
">- You must be able to obtain state insurance licenses (life, health, variable contracts) and pass a background check and/or insurance licensing verification.
- You must be able to work independently.
- You must have a high school diploma.
- You must have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
- You must have strong interpersonal, written communication, oral communication, and listening skills.
- You must be able to engage well with others and provide an exemplary customer experience.
This is a commission-based contract opportunity. We offer a benefits package for those who qualify. You will need to complete a criminal background check, credit check, drug screen and reference checks. Any contract offer will be contingent upon successfully passing these screenings. You will be an independent contractor and not an employee of WoodmenLife. However, certain full-time life insurance sales agents may be treated as statutory employees for employment tax purposes.
