What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Director position at Woodmont Senior Living?

We are looking for an Executive Director to join our team!

You will be the face of the organization, responsible for giving the proper strategic direction and implementing a high-quality vision. An excellent executive director is an influential manager with the ability to lead and motivate. They have great communication skills and take a holistic approach in managing the organization’s operations. The goal is to manage and lead the organization towards the realization of its mission.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid RCFE License

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies aiming to promote the organization’s mission and “voice”
  • Create complete business plans for the attainment of goals and objectives set by the board of directors
  • Build an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to subordinate managers
  • Ensure adherence of the organization’s daily activities and long-term plans to established policies and legal guidelines.
  • Devise remedial actions for any identified issues and conduct crisis management when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as Executive Director or in other managerial position
  • Emphasis in Business Administration, Personnel Administration, Genealogy to related fields with service to the elderly or have two years of college and at least three years’ experience providing residential care to the elderly; or equivalent education and experience as approved by the licensing agency.
  • Associate must have operations experience specific to retirement housing with assisted living, long- term care or related fields and experience operating and maintaining a quality, customer-oriented
  • workforce.
  • Associate must also possess strong human relations skills and experience with the ability to communicate with diverse levels of employees.
  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, along with basic typing skills is essential.
  • Licensure as an administrator in states requiring such licensure and must meet the minimum educational requirements required by state licensing for an administrator.
  • Possession a valid and current driver's license.
  • May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification.
  • Possess ability to gain trust, communicate both written and verbally, listen, problem-solve, organize, plan, and supervise.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward the ill, disabled, and elderly.

Work Schedule:

  • 8:30 am- 5:00 pm
  • Weekends & Holidays as needed
