- Partner with teachers through co-planning, co-teaching, and reflective coaching to integrate technology in ways that elevate student voice, choice, and ownership.
- Promote the thoughtful use of technology using the SAMR Model and ISTE Standards.
- Support educators in transitioning from technology as a substitution tool to a transformational learning lever.
- Collaborate with curriculum leaders to ensure technology integration aligns with district instructional goals, K–8 learning standards, and content priorities.
- Serve as a key member of the Teaching & Learning team to embed instructional technology within all core initiatives and academic frameworks.
- Design, deliver, and assess professional development sessions focused on instructional design, technology integration, and 21st-century skills.
- Facilitate workshops, learning labs, and Impact Teams for teachers, leaders, and staff to grow capacity for blended, personalized, and innovative instruction.
- Partner with the Director of Technology and Learning Resource Specialists to align instructional and operational technology initiatives.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies and digital tools that advance student-centered learning and instructional effectiveness.
- Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the impact of instructional technology on student outcomes.
- Support implementation and integration of instructional platforms, including setup, training, and troubleshooting in partnership with IT.
- Develop and manage grants or special projects as requested to enhance district technology resources.
- Serve as a liaison to regional or state networks related to instructional technology and digital learning.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including administrators, teachers, students, parents, and external partners.
- Contribute to technology planning, visioning, and strategic implementation with district leadership.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Technology Specialist or other applicable certification.
- Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years successful teaching or instructional coaching experience with a proven track record of technology integration.
- Recent professional experience or advanced coursework in educational technology within the last three years.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead adult learning.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and build teacher capacity.

TITLE: INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR
JOB GOAL:
The Instructional Technology & Innovation Coordinator serves as a critical leader in advancing teaching and learning across the district by supporting the meaningful integration of instructional technology into classroom practice. This role combines pedagogical coaching, professional learning design, and cross-departmental collaboration to ensure students are prepared with the skills needed for a rapidly changing, technology-rich world.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be according to contract in accordance with the Teachers Contract with the addition of 20 workdays (195 day work year).
