Salary: Starting at $20/hour depending upon education and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Our team member will take the lead on engagement and conduct non-clinical assistance by providing support to consumers after the initial crisis has been resolved.
- Demonstrate competency in providing peer-to-peer support prior to rendering services independently.
Requirements:
- Must be trained in crisis intervention and have at least 2 years of continuous recovery from an SMI or SUD diagnosis and at least one year of field experience working with community individuals.
- Participate in DMHAS approved de-escalation, mental health crisis, substance use crisis, and suicide training.
- Possess a certification from at least one of the following credentialing entities: Addiction Professional Certification Board as a Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP) or a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS).
- Complete annual Agency trainings, as well as job-related trainings determined by position.
The program operates throughout Burlington County and Mercer County providing mobile crisis outreach response services for adults through the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
