Job Title: Graphic Designer
Description:
Woods Supermarket Support Center is looking to hire a person that is excited about helping people and communities and passionate about marketing. This role is a customer-facing role that helps to reach communities with the Woods brand. This role is dynamic and will have a range of different responsibilities that fall underneath the marketing arm of Woods. The graphic designer needs to be a self-starter, someone that will take direction and run with it. This role will need to learn quickly and be accountable for driving sales and store traffic.
With grocery being a legacy industry, Woods is constantly seeking new ways to improve the customer's shopping experience and market in a way that reaches new customer touchpoints. Woods is frequently testing and using new technology and marketing tactics to grow sales and compete with national grocery brands. We are looking for a specialist to join the team to help with this mission.
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years using Adobe Illustrator & All Adobe products
- 2 to 3 years in a graphic designer role
- 2 to 3 years using Microsoft Office Suite
- Photo enhancing
- Photography experience a plus
Job Functions
- Create visual text and imagery concepts by hand & using computer software
- Develop layout and productions designs for advertisements, magazines, corporate templates and more
- Create brand guidelines for multiple projects
- Able to follow brand guidelines for all projects
- Collaborate with marketing team to create and deploy brands
- Create print materials and work with print partners to make sure stores receive instore signage on time
- Ability to work on website design with some HTML knowledge
- Committed to working as a team and help marketing department meet tight deadlines that are not specific to Graphic Design duties
