As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you –
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you –
- Acts as primary Medicaid/Managed Care Organization Biller, including checking monthly eligibility and resident liability amounts.
- Acts as a support to Director of Revenue Cycle in charge entry for Part A type admissions including assistance in Billing of Medicare B type claims.
- Assists with inventory of stored records, record destruction, record keeping, and organization of stored records.
- Complete long term care claims monthly for campus.
- Assists in entering new admission agreements, completing financial addendums for payer changes, payment entry for private pay, and importing clinical and financial records into current software.

Education / Experience –
- High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Two plus years of experience in long-term care and/or medical billing experience required.
- Must have basic Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel knowledge.
- Medical records, health care business services, or related experience also strongly preferred.
