PM Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our food service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated places.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required by the culinary team.
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
• Support kitchen staff with additional tasks such as bussing tables or restocking supplies when necessary.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.

Skills

• Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including culinary or catering environments.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen as needed.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks during busy service periods.
