Are you an experienced General Manager or leader looking to take it to the next level? Windy City-Fox Motorsports, the largest network of Harley-Davidson dealers in the Midwest, is looking for a General Manager for our Harley-Davidson / Triumph / KTM dealership located in Woodstock, IL.
Woodstock Harley-Davidson / Triumph / KTM is the premier motorcycle dealership in the Chicago area. With a 100,000 sq ft footprint, this dealership sells a combined total of over 1,300 units annually. A successful operator can earn between $200,000 - $425,000 in salary and commissions. Additional annual bonus potential also available.
As the General Manager of one of our Harley-Davidson dealerships, your leadership experience and passion for motorcycles will drive the success of our dealership, and in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading operations, fostering exceptional customer experiences, and upholding the high standards of the Harley-Davidson, Triumph and KTM brands.
Responsibilities :
1. Leadership and Team Management
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to the staff, while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated team, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed.
- Set performance goals and objectives for the team, manage key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure goals are met.
2. Sales and Business Development
Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives to increase sales revenue and market share.Monitor market trends, analyze competition, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.Foster relationships with key customers, build a loyal customer base and ensure exceptional customer service at all touch points.3. Financial Management
Effectively manage store operations and deploy cost control measures to ensure profitability and financial stability for the dealership.Analyze financial reports and metrics to make informed business decisions and take corrective actions when necessary.Manage inventory levels, monitor product mix, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.4. Operations and Compliance
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the dealership, including sales, service, parts, accessories, and motor clothes departments.Implement and enforce dealership policies, procedures, and operational standards in compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.Maintain a safe and organized working environment, prioritizing the well-being of employees and customers.5. Marketing and Promotions
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.Drive brand awareness and maintain a strong online and offline presence through digital marketing, social media, events, and community involvement.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the automotive, retail, or other related industry, preferably in a motorcycle dealership.Strong understanding of motorcycle sales, service, and parts operations.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders.Financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data.Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the motorcycle industry is highly desirable.A valid driver's license is required, and a motorcycle endorsement (is preferred).Windy City Motorcycle Company is an equal employment opportunity employer; we welcome all to come as they are!
