- Estimated annual base pay: $82,960 (minimum) - $103,700 (midpoint) - $124,440

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Manufacturing Engineer 1, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Operations Engineer 2 (level 2) reports to Technical Leadership and provides manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Provides leadership and direction in manufacturing for programming, processing, tooling or working with development engineering on new hardware.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provides technical solutions
- Creates cell layouts and process improvement initiatives
- Uses basic Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processes
- Supports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions and develops/trains other members in the manufacturing process
- Creates, maintains and develops new process documentation and updates work order documentation
- Supports updates to management on operations status
- Manufacturing Engineering Specific Functions - Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or basic design and implementation of Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming
What We Are Looking For
- US - bachelor's degree in arts/sciences, Technical/Science or international equivalent required.
- Greater than 2 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree required.
- Effective written/verbal communication skills, basic presentation skills
- General troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; General understanding of Root Cause Analysis
- General understanding and ability to read electrical and/or mechanical machine drawings.
- Certifications i.e. AWS, SME, CWE, CWI, etc. preferred.
