Job Title: Seasonal Grounds Keeper at Woodway Country Club
Job Summary: The seasonal Grounds Keeper at Woodway Country Club is responsible for maintaining the golf course, landscape, and grounds of the country club. The Grounds Keeper will work alongside the maintenance team to ensure that the country club is always looking its best.
Key Responsibilities:
Mow and edge greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunker faces.
Maintain proper height of cut and ensure proper soil moisture.
Operate equipment such as mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles to maintain the golf course and grounds.
Rake bunkers and maintain sand levels.
Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment.
Install and maintain landscaping.
Maintain irrigation system and make necessary repairs.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with lawn care equipment and machinery.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
Ability to operate equipment and machinery.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
May be exposed to chemicals and fertilizers.
May be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
