Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
- Routes items to departments
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
- Direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments
- Interact with the customers via emails, over the phone, or face to face
- Listen to the customer queries patiently and solve it promptly
- Look after the customer accounts and update their transaction status
- Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner
- Plan and prepare production schedules for manufacturing and shipping
- Draw up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates per sales forecasts or customer orders
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation per previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
- Teams with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Prepares production reports
- High school diploma or degree and a bachelor's degree or something equivalent
- Knowledge of customer services ethics, principles and procedures
- Proficiency in administrative and documentation procedures
- Microsoft business systems
- Epicor MRP system
- Communication and problem solving skills
- Well organized
- Should have the skill of versatility; to adapt to many situations regarding both internal and external customers
