- Location: The Shopps - Canton, CT
- Available to work on weekends
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure customers are being greeted and treated with exceptional courtesy and professionalism, maximizing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with customers to determine needs
- Maintain product shelves and displays properly replenished and organized.
- Ensure cash register has available cash for change.
- Receive products and update inventory accordingly
- Store opening and close operations and management of grooming schedule
- Execute daily store operations activities such as answering the phone, check-in and check-out dogs and check-out customers.
- Maintain overall store cleanliness and organization.
- Actively support securing company assets through effective Loss Prevention in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Protect the Woof Gang Bakery brand message and philosophies by maintaining a professional and personal appearance
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- A strong commitment to customer service
- Previous retail experience and familiarity with POS systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, customers, and co-workers
- Pet experience preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
