**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic law office. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our attorneys and contribute to the smooth operation of our legal practice. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles and a keen eye for detail, with experience in document review and legal drafting. **Responsibilities:**
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including preparing and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
- Manage and coordinate legal files and records
- Assist with scheduling and organizing interviews and depositions
- Utilize iManage to manage and organize legal documents and files
- Perform various administrative tasks
- Collaborate with paralegals and other legal staff to ensure the efficient operation of the office
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in the areas of federal, state, and local tax planning, corporate law, business formations, mergers, acquisitions, real estate, estate planning, etc... is a plus
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., paralegal studies) or a legal secretarial certificate
- At least one year of experience as a legal secretary in a law office
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Proficiency in iManage and Microsoft Office
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive legal matters
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong interviewing skills and ability to assist with interviewing clients and witnesses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
