Due to our growth, Woolpert is seeking an experienced Jet-Vac Operator for our Atlanta, GA office.The Jet-Vac Operator position includes cleaning of storm water and sanitary sewers, and occasional diving in sanitary manholes. The candidate is required to hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and must be able to learn and adapt to Woolpert specific processes and procedures. This position may include occasional travel.

Experience
- Previous Jet-Vac Operator Experience.
- Previous Experience driving Industrial Vehicles
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Must have valid CDL, and maintain a satisfactory driving record, as required by our insurance company.
- Must be willing to occasionally dive manholes.
- Must have general knowledge of sanitary sewer systems.
- Must have reliable source of transportation to jobsite.
- Must pass basic safety training.
- Must be willing to work outdoors, in all-weather.
- Answers questions from office engineering personnel about data collected in the field and collection methods.
- Set up, operate, and maintain field equipment.
- Responsible for following project quality control and quality assurance processes.
- Must successfully pass periodic drug testing as required by company policy.
- Must successfully pass a federal background check.
- Follows Woolpert safety procedures at all times.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- NASSCO Certification
- Basic understanding of Mechanical aptitude.
Travel
- Occasional Travel < 20%
Education
- High school diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and move more than 100 pounds.
- Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms and climb.
- Ability to climb down a ladder into manhole with safety gear to access work locations.
- Must have vision abilities of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
