This position would be aligned with our office located in Chicago and would support full-time in-person/hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities
Working closely with architects, designers and the larger Digital Design Technology team, the candidate will be helping craft and visualize design concepts with 3D techniques. The ideal candidate should have a background in architecture and a keen eye for photography and composition. Creative freedom and curiosity towards the latest technologies in the visualization field is highly encouraged and supported. The ideal candidate should have a holistic approach and interest in the Design Technology applied to AEC industry.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have a holistic approach and interest in the Design Technology applied to AEC industry.
- Work closely with different design teams to support developing architectural images, both stylized and photorealistic.
- Produce images for different project phases (SD, DD), city and client presentations.
- Produce concept Site Test Fits visuals for masterplan studies.
- Produce images aimed for competitions, marketing, exhibitions, and publications.
- Provide basic training to younger staff.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior design, Graphic Design, or similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a studio environment.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of 3D Software: Rhino, 3ds Max, Revit, Sketchup.
- Advanced knowledge of Rendering software Enscape/V-Ray/Corona/Lumion
- Advanced knowledge of image editing software: Adobe Suite (PS, ID, AI)
- Experience in creating video-animation sequences and fly throughs (3dsMax VRay/Corona, Enscape, Lumion)
- Good understanding of lighting, composition, and photography.
- Image post-production and compositing of rendered frames and animations.
- Knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere/After Effects)
- Flexibility to help other teams with Revit production tasks (if/when needed).
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit documentation and production.
- Knowledge of 3D parametric modeling in Rhino Grasshopper
- Knowledge of Rhino Inside Revit
- Knowledge of Game Engine software (Unreal Engine/Unity)
- Knowledge of other real-time rendering software (Lumion, Twinmotion, Chaos Vantage)
- Experience with Digital Twins and Nvidia Omniverse platform.
