Position Summary
The Woolworth Theatre is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the front of house operation. This role requires a candidate who is well versed in food and beverage operation, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, focused on guest satisfaction and a great communicator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the front of house, lounge and venue operations
- Hire, train and mentor new team members
- Schedule shifts and assign sections
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and train team to the expected standard
- Resolve guest questions and complaints professionally
- Ensure operation follows health and safety regulations
- Manage Toast POS systems
- Assists in beverage inventories
- Assists in weekly beverage ordering
- Conduct end of night closing procedures including cash handling
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply and labor costs
- Assist in managing private event operations
Requirements:
- 2 years in hospitality supervisor or management role (food and beverage operations preferred)
- Proficient in point-of-sale operations (Toast)
- Strong leadership skills with capacity for development & future advancement
- Ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner
- Open availability to work days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
