Job Description
- Identify new business opportunities and create target customers in freight forwarding and/or logistics related industries
- Support on promotion all company products and services to increase sales
- Support to Meet and exceed sales goals and targets
- Research and identify new business opportunities to evaluate needs and provide insight
- Ensure execution support of developed sales strategies, objectives, and goals
- Support on maintain strong relationships with all clients through efficient communication, work processes and services, including responding to customers’ questions about products, prices, services and credit terms
- Provide excellent communication support for sales calls and manage follow-up
- Maintain and develop general industry knowledge, including competitors and their market presence
- Work closely with product/pricing team and oversea partners to ensure all quotes, proposals are accurate
- Perform ad-hoc reporting, as required.
- Perform other job related duties as required
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding and/or relevant logistics sales experience required
- 3 years of experience working with one of the top global freight forwarders
- Pharmaceutical logistics/supply chain preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required in a business-related field
- Possess a thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry (trucking, rail, air, W/H and ocean modes)
- Proven track record in sales, prospecting, and developing accounts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is REQUIRED
- Familiar with digital freight forwarder platforms and processes
- Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff)
- Excellent presentation and selling skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow up with clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 30% in US
