What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Preschool Program position at Worcester JCC Early Childhood?
EEC preferred teacher with Early Education experience.
This is a summer position from June 9th to August 15th.
We are looking for a preschool teacher to join our dynamic summer team! The candidate must have previous experience working with preschool aged children, work together as a team, provide a safe and nurturing environment, and develop, create, and implement curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child in our care.

Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, fun, nurturing environment for all the children.
Develop, implement, and maintain curriculum.
Supervise children in a play and structured activities.
Prepare and implement activities designed to educate young children in a variety of subjects.
Record children's progress daily to help prepare for parent/teacher conferences.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, performing light housekeeping duties as needed, and lifting up to 50lbs
Communicate efficiently and effectively with Directors, parents and peers.
Working knowledge of child-led curriculum or willingness to learn.
Be a team player with all staff and work together
Maintain annual professional development hours ( We offer professional development days, including First Aid/CPR and other staff trainings)
Qualifications:
EEC Certified Preferred
This is a summer temporary position- June 9th to August 15th
Experience working with preschoolers is a must.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
