General Statement of Duties : Perform customer service and clerical duties necessary for the effective operation of the Access Services unit, as well as shelving and shelf-reading to maintain good order of the stacks.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service to library patrons.
- Charge and discharge materials using the automated circulation system.
- Shelve library materials and assist with stack maintenance.
- Retrieve materials from the collection as needed.
- Complete assignments and projects as directed by Access Services staff.
- Provide patrons with accurate information related to library services and general policies.
- Help patrons navigate the library and locate resources in the stacks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
