What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer position at Word of Life Church?
The Videographer will work closely with the Video Director in creating video content for all social media channels and digital platforms for Weekend Services, Next Gen Online Experience, and Content Creation for multiple Word of Life Church campuses.
A strong grasp of the mission, vision, values; and commitment to the beliefs and doctrine of Word of Life Church is required; and must be shown in their conduct.
Essential Job Functions
- Craft unique and engaging stories through collaborative video editing with the creative team
- Quickly and efficiently edit videos from start to finish for multiple social platforms
- Provide photos for social platforms at multiple campuses by rotating to different campuses on Sundays
- Respond to director notes and provide creative solutions
- Repackage footage for social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube)
- Create and maintain dynamic bumpers, reels, and marketing materials
- Provide post-production support through finishing and delivering, including coloring and mixing
- Stay knowledgeable of current trends, editing techniques, and styles as well as content platforms
- Other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
- Mastery of Adobe Premiere and proficient in After Effects, Photoshop. Knowledge of finishing techniques: mixing and color, strongly preferred
- Strong storytelling skills
- Experience helping to oversee video shoots and production processes
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changes in production plans/schedules
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced production environments with quick turnarounds in a deadline-driven environment.
- Motion Graphics Design and Animation experience is a HUGE plus.

Education/Experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in post-production, with an emphasis on digital content
- 3 years of serving or working in a church staff experience
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
- Operates camera, computer, and other office equipment
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder or platform for video shoots
- Frequently moves items weighing up to 20 pounds in an office and workstation setting
