About the Company—We're adding a BIM Manager to our team to work on various project types, from hospitality and multi-family to commercial office and healthcare. These positions will support the continued advancement of our firm's BIM standards. They will foster a collaborative design environment and continue to advance our firm’s reputation as thought leaders through active participation in the industry.
About the Role - This position will lead and manage the office’s BIM software and other complementary digital tools to produce the industry's highest quality, most consistent design and construction documents.
Responsibilities
- Lead all BIM modeling and modeling processes
- Conduct BIM-related training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and understanding of BIM processes
- Provide onboarding training to all new employees for using CADD/Revit tools
- Complete development on REVIT templates
- Reduce time to produce final Construction Documents. As our current tools are evaluated, you will be expected to establish a baseline of average hours for production across the firm and track reduction after implementing higher standardization and increased training
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, procedures, and workflows for the firm
- Provide written quarterly reports with precise tasks and due dates. At reporting sessions, be prepared to obtain feedback, set targets, and report on progress and obstacles
- Attends meetings for developing standards, discussing software options, and addressing issues other team members have encountered

- Attending yearly training to advance knowledge and fluency in BIM leadership role
Project Support
- Supports each project team by managing and creating content library files and templates, creating and enforcing standards, and evaluating project models
- Sets up Revit projects assigned to a team and creates Revit families needed for assigned projects
- Sets up, runs, and manages clash detection/BIM coordination for projects assigned to a team and leads the BIM coordination process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 4-5 years of experience as a BIM Production Manager
- Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Sketchup, Enscape
- Knowledge of construction documents, architectural design processes, and building systems
- Able to detail construction documents for complete constructability
- Preferred previous experience leading teams in implementing BIM or CADD standards
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
