JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Responsible for completing, maintaining, and performing Cashier duties to meet the standards of the Cashier OJT (On the Job Training) form.
Essential Functions

- Read and interpret CFS (Corporate Food Service) Production Log:
- Properly identify products on serving line.
- Properly identify portion size of products.
- Understand and perform cashier processes of:
- Log in/Log out
- ESM (Essential Station Messing) customers
- Cross Service customers
- Cash/Contract customers
- Able to properly handle, count, and balance change funds.
- Understand procedures for AF (Air Force) and company forms:
- AF 79 Headcount record
- AF1469 Invalid Entitlements Log
- AF 27 Food Service Customer Survey
- WSC Form 1001 Controlled Issue/Return Log
- WSC Form 1010 No Military ID Card
- AF Form 645 Cash Register Adjustment
- Birthday Meal
- Cashier Miscellaneous Log
- Forms Issue Log
- Maintain flow rates established by PWS (Performance Work Statement).
- Maintain accuracy required by PWS and CFS.
- Understand usage of Commander’s Log Book.
- Understand and follow Cashier Instruction Book.
10. Maintains professional conduct in accordance with WSC policies.

Work Environment
This job operates in a food service environment. The employee is exposed to a variety of conditions such as significant heat and / or cold, exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration, and the noise level in the work environment can be loud.
This role routinely requires the position holder to be familiar with the operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting requirements of all equipment utilized in the food service facility.
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit or stand as needed for duration of shift; repetitive hand reach, touch-screen cash register, gripping (money change).
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is required to walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and crouch for the duration of each shift. The employee is required to lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Required Education and Experience
- Successful completion of Cashier certification
- Must maintain yearly ServSafe Food Handler’s certification.Ability to complete and maintain the ServSafe™ Food Handler’s annual certification No required education level specified.
