What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissary Worker-PT-Night Janitor position at Work Services Corporation?
Summary/Objective: This position works under the direct supervision of the Project Manager.
The rate of pay for this position is $17.75 per hour. PT 24 hours a week, Night Stocker
Must pass Air Force Background check
Functions:
Unloading truck
Stocks and replenish shelves.
Front merchandise according to instructions.
Clean, dust merchandise and shelves.
Mark items without labels.
Move damaged merchandise to damage area.
Dispose of half cases/overwrites/cases not stocked.
Stock merchandise in correct location.
Rotate stock.
Remove expired merchandise from shelf.
Work reshops.
Dispose of cardboard/trash.
Report missing shelf labels.
Maintains professional conduct in accordance with WSC policies.
Performs other job-related duties as required by supervisor.
Be adaptable to a cool environment.
Work with bleach and chemicals.
Ensure electricity is turned off to machines.
Scrape meat off machines.
Sweep up scraping off floor.
Cover machines not to be cleaned.
Pre-rinse machines, trays, pans, tables, walls and floor.
Foam all items in pre-rinse.
Allow foam to break-up grease.
Hose foam off, insuring items are free of meat particles.
Clean drain baskets and sinks.
Clean office
Mop and dry floor.

None required; stocking experience helpful.

Abilities:
Ability to stock and replenish shelves in the main store; ability to meet productivity stocking standards of aisle assigned; ability to retain and follow instructions; ability to work independently; ability to communicate and work well with others; ability to read, write, and count; must have good personal hygiene and neat appearance; ability to sweep and mop.
Licenses/
Certificates:
Valid Driver’s License or State issued ID and meet access requirements of Sheppard Air Force Base.
Physical
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently, 60 pounds occasionally, waist high. Ability to bend, twist, and squat frequently for the duration of the shift. Ability to pull loads up to 100 pounds or more and reach overhead. Manual dexterity required.
Machine, Equipment, Tool Skills:
Must wear steel toe shoes. Uses mop, broom, box cutters, rags, and spray bottles.
