1. Ensures all requirements of the PWS/SOW are met.
2. Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring all employees are trained as required.
3. Ensures staff are knowledgeable of the requirements and application of the PWS, SOW, Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and personnel policies as required.
4. Partner with contracting to ensure timely renewal of existing contracts.
5. Responsible for the financial planning, ordering processes, and inventory control to meet operation, and developing and monitoring budgeting activities.
6. May assist company officers and senior staff members in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, programs, and objectives.
7. Directs and monitors department supervisors to accomplish goals of the PWS / SOW.
8. Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff, taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with CBA and / or WSC policy. Consults with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
9. Implements training and certification programs to ensure that qualified applicants are available as vacancies occur.
10. Develop contingency plans to sustain operations during shortages, inclement weather, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages all employees in the operational facility and is responsible for the performance management, discipline, and hiring of the employees within the operational facilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in in an operational setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as extreme heat and / or cold, exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration, and the noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to sit, and employee is required to talk and hear, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position supporting a 24 hour 365 days per year.
Travel
Daily travel is required from one facility to another in our Western Region. Some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected for meetings in corporate office or attending conferences.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school graduate or GED required.
2. Two years’ managerial experience required.
3. Working knowledge in Plumbing, Electrical and Facility Management.
4. Basic knowledge of various equipment used in accordance with the contracts PWS / SOW.
5. Basic knowledge of machine/equipment troubleshooting and repair in accordance with the contracts PWS / SOW.
6. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Project Management experience
Licenses/Work Authorization/Security Clearance
1. Valid Driver’s License with certificate of insurability (corporate auto policy).
2. Drug Screen.
3. WSC background check.
4. Appropriate background check for contract i.e., NACI, TxDOT, DPS.
