Responsibilities for the Boiler / Burner Service Technician :

Install and commission new commercial boilers and burners, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing systems to identify potential issues and optimize performance.

Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, efficiently repair or replace faulty components, and adjust burners and controls as needed.

Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to analyze system performance and ensure optimal efficiency and safety.

Communicate clearly with clients, explaining repairs, maintenance, and offering recommendations for system improvements.

Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.

Be available for on-call emergency service to address critical boiler / burner issues.

Stay current on industry best practices and new technologies through ongoing training and development.

Requirements for the Boiler / Burner Service Technician :

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boiler / Burner Technician

Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial boiler and burner systems required.

Completion of HVAC / Boiler Program Trade School experience a plus!

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in electrical systems and controls related to boilers and burners.

Knowledge of combustion principles and gas safety regulations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
