Prototype Press Operator, up to $50/hr - Livonia, MI

The Prototype Operator will maintain continuous improvement in quality & productivity. Focus on job and be self-motivated. Keep safe by wearing all required protective equipment including safety glasses. Troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience required.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and conversions.
- Ability to work with statistical data and apply concepts such as whole numbers and fractions, ratios and proportions and work with measurement devices.
- Ability to accurately identify and analyze trends.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in Prototype Sheet Metal
- Must have hydraulic press experience working with Kirkside dies, Aluminum and Steel dies
- Die barbering, die spotting, set up and development is required using 2, 3 and 4 piece die sets
- Must be willing to develop and run prototype stampings which may include blank development and developing a prototype die process for others to follow
