Shipping & Receiving Associate, Up to 22/hr., Saline MI
Workbox Staffing is hiring Shipping and Receiving Associates in Saline!!!
They are a full-service supplier of interior and exterior injection molded plastic components and assemblies, providing innovative solutions for automotive plastics applications to original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build pallets out with items picked from "pick list"
- Weigh and measure shipments to ensure accuracy
- Operate a computer to run shipping software / print logs / complete documentation
- Make outbound calls to trucking companies to coordinate shipments
- Order fulfillment
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers and machine pallet wrappers
- Receiving raw materials and managing inventory
- Other duties as assigned including assisting in production as needed
Education and Experience Required:
- Experience working in a shipping role is required
- Proficient with computers
- Able to read a tape measure
- Proficient with time management—possesses the ability to schedule, prioritize, and multitask
- Detail Oriented
